Hammarby IF's Berrin Gaarden was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Brazilio Butt in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Celedonio Dominguez, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 11 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Brazilio Butt was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 13 minutes of play, DIF LEEDS BK's Silviu Novac made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Holger Vester was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Hammarby IF's Holger Vester got control of the ball when Tanek Bobrowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brazilio Butt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Söderberg in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute Hammarby IF were awarded a corner. Kaj Björklund went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Hammarby IF's Ola Bremming getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Hammarby IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
