The audience thought a goal was coming when Albano Oliverio got free with Danilo Florian in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, Ángel Albirrojo's goalkeeper Danilo Florian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albano Oliverio. Danilo Florian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albano Oliverio in the 18th minute. BWANA FC's Hermengildo Tipi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Joanes in the 20th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Fernan Platon managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Siro Frances during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute, Siro Frances hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermengildo Tipi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zülfü Kamber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ángel Albirrojo were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after BWANA FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Celso Ayala took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ángel Albirrojo's corner Celso Ayala fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hermengildo Tipi quite easily take care of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Albano Oliverio made the kick off in the second half. Danilo Florian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Honesto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, Ángel Albirrojo's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Honesto came free, but Danilo Florian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danilo Florian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernan Platon in the 55th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Siro Frances's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermengildo Tipi was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Danilo Florian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Jusepe in the 69th minute of the match. Sebastián Domínguez hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ángel Albirrojo's zone, Ignacio Pepillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Florian came out of the goal and Ignacio Pepillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 1-1. Extra-time would have to be played.
After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Siro Frances made the kick off and play began. Zacarias Weather kicked well hit freekick during the 107th minute of the match. The supporters of BWANA FC booed when Ángel Albirrojo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 108 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Hirtz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 110 minutes into the match, Ángel Albirrojo's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Honesto came free, but Danilo Florian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermengildo Tipi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Joanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ángel Albirrojo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ignacio Pepillo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ignacio Pepillo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Danilo Florian quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 123 minutes into the game, Ángel Albirrojo's Siro Frances nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hermengildo Tipi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Chants of Ángel Albirrojo echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as BWANA FC had held the ball for most of the match.
