Ovidiu Cosâmbescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caatiba MZC's goalkeeper Ergo Muro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ovidiu Cosâmbescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Ihazintu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Dobromir Juchno notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Caatiba MZC's Ergo Muro. Ergo Muro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Fernando Hierro in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Artur Rasimowicz. The Gocław Wilga Warszawa fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Dobromir Juchno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pankracy Nienajadlo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 36 minutes into the match, Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Ihazintu came free, but Ovidiu Cosâmbescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Niceto Ihazintu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidiu Cosâmbescu was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. After 37 minutes, Niceto Ihazintu made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Ovidiu Cosâmbescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Ihazintu came free, but Ovidiu Cosâmbescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Niceto Ihazintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidiu Cosâmbescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Gocław Wilga Warszawa made a substitution. Maciej Matela replaced Witomir Chuchro. Marco-Antonio Ramiréz made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Artur Rasimowicz. Rodriguinho Linhares missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 58 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ovidiu Cosâmbescu right hand side. 67 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Dong Yuan Feng came free, but Ergo Muro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gocław Wilga Warszawa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 71st minute, when Niceto Ihazintu scored to the left of an out of position Ovidiu Cosâmbescu, making the score, 2-3. In the 76th minute, Ezequiel Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Gocław Wilga Warszawa's Ovidiu Cosâmbescu got control of the ball when Nuno Mattos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Caatiba MZC's Natã Siqueira managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Adam Byk in the 87 minute of the game. Nuno Mattos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Mattos in the 91st minute of play forced Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goalkeeper Ovidiu Cosâmbescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Artur Rasimowicz came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Gocław Wilga Warszawa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Rasimowicz couldn't finish the play. The referee's whistle sounded for the end of the second half. The match was tied at 3-3. None of the players looked happy at the prospect of extra-time.

Marco-Antonio Ramiréz kicked well hit freekick during the 101st minute of the match. 106 minutes into the match, Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Mattos came free, but Ovidiu Cosâmbescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dong Yuan Feng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ergo Muro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 109th minute of play. In the 110th match minute, Gocław Wilga Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michal Jaraczewski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Mattos in the 112th minute of play forced Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goalkeeper Ovidiu Cosâmbescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 113 minutes into the match, Gocław Wilga Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Natã Siqueira came free, but Ovidiu Cosâmbescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Gocław Wilga Warszawa players wondered just what they needed to do win this one. 105 minutes had now been played and the teams were still tied. Penalties were starting to look likely.

The players still looked rather fresh even though it was time for second half of the overtime. Dong Yuan Feng did a quick kick off. Pankracy Nienajadlo took the ball and in the 123 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ergo Muro. Ergo Muro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Caatiba MZC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
