In the 8th minute, Aquiles Gana made a precise shot to the right of Niculae Ailenei. Chevaliers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, AC Morena's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Navarro came free, but Jairo Asteguieta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristinel Pandele got free with Jairo Asteguieta in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 18th minute of the match, Antonio Navarro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jairo Asteguieta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, AC Morena's Jairo Asteguieta got control of the ball when Cristinel Pandele tried to sneak it across the goal line. AC Morena's Jairo Asteguieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Pandele in the 22nd minute of play. Cristinel Pandele could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Jairo Asteguieta made a huge save. AC Morena's Ercole Carosella managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pompiliu Fărcașu in the 27 minute of the game. Aquiles Gana might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niculae Ailenei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aquiles Gana ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Gana in the 30th minute of play forced Chevaliers FC's goalkeeper Niculae Ailenei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of AC Morena booed when Chevaliers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Carlo Bussi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niculae Ailenei showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute Chris-George Chevalier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Asteguieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chevaliers FC's goalkeeper Niculae Ailenei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Gana in the 37th minute of play forced Chevaliers FC's goalkeeper Niculae Ailenei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niculae Ailenei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Gana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Cristinel Pandele dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jairo Asteguieta, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antonio Navarro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the game, Chevaliers FC's Antonio Navarro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jairo Asteguieta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 65th minute of the game Peter Bagge made a throw-in which Sorin Gurgui played forward. Niculae Ailenei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. AC Morena made a substitution. Alex Buffone replaced Carlo Bussi. In the 78th match minute, AC Morena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Refugio to maneuver through the defense. AC Morena made a substitution. Aurelio Iacovacci replaced Aldo Di Biagio. After 79 played minutes AC Morena got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Refugio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikola Vlašić in the 81st minute of play forced AC Morena's goalkeeper Jairo Asteguieta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquiles Gana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niculae Ailenei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Jairo Asteguieta came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Chevaliers FC's Chris-George Chevalier. But to his dismay, Chris-George Chevalier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Aurelio Iacovacci's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Niculae Ailenei skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A well done corner resulted in Aquiles Gana drilling the ball in to score 3-2 behind Chevaliers FC's goalkeeper.

There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chevaliers FC fully deserved thier win.
