After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Dacian Patrichi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rovine Craiova's supporters rose to their feet, but Dacian Patrichi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luca Lera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 11 minutes, Sandu Munteanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rovine Craiova and the ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rovine Craiova getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Sandu Munteanu hit a great ball. Luca Lera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerry Gane's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™'s zone, Dacian Patrichi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luca Lera came out of the goal and Dacian Patrichi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute Jerry Gane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Lera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th match minute, ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Zbârciog to maneuver through the defense. Luca Lera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacian Patrichi in the 29th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Iulian Gheorghe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute of the match Nistor Pătran sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luca Lera skillfully saved the ball. 33 minutes into the match, ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Jerry Gane came free, but Luca Lera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luca Lera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dacian Patrichi, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After 37 minutes, Mihnea Jula mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™ and the Rovine Craiova players grew even worse after the yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gigel Bălan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Rovine Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Iordache Moisescu. In the 52nd minute Luca Berevoescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorin Arșanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Dacian Patrichi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luca Lera. The goal made the score 0-1. With an all-out effort, Rovine Craiova's Luca Lera threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jerry Gane, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 64th minute Jerry Gane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Lera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nistor Pătran got free with Luca Lera in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the game, Cristian Tutunaru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rovine Craiova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™ the free kick. In the 66th minute, Cristian Tutunaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Munteanu in the 71st minute of play forced ⚽️FC CRYSTYAN ACADEMY⚽️ ™'s goalkeeper Luca Lera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Emanuel Zbârciog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luca Lera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dacian Patrichi in the 85th minute. Luca Lera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerry Gane in the 93rd minute of play. Rovine Craiova's Jerry Gane was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 93rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The Rovine Craiova supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rovine Craiova would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
