Abel Paes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Babarada, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Abel Paes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sabin Comșa went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 11 minutes into the match, Agua Santa's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Babarada came free, but Abel Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 played minutes Agua Santa got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Cosme. Agua Santa's Abel Paes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Comșa in the 14th minute of play. Abel Paes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Comșa in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to Agua Santa getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Giuseppe Queirós hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Comșa in the 18th minute of play forced Agua Santa's goalkeeper Abel Paes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogdan Tănăsocă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Paes having to interfere. The supporters of Fălciu booed when Agua Santa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugênio Monteiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 played minutes Agua Santa got a freekick which was hit by Eugênio Monteiro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sabin Comșa in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Paes saved Agua Santa from getting behind. If Adam Babarada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Agua Santa's zone, Cătălin Caranică stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Paes came out of the goal and Cătălin Caranică tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abel Paes came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Fălciu's Sabin Comșa. But to his dismay, Sabin Comșa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 39 minutes of play, Fălciu's Sabin Comșa made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abel Paes was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Comșa in the 43rd minute of play forced Agua Santa's goalkeeper Abel Paes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Agua Santa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Rosa to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the game, Fălciu's Marian Pascaru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abel Paes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The Agua Santa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fălciu were winning 0-4.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Babarada in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Paes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 54 minutes, Sabin Comșa made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Agua Santa's Abel Paes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Abel Paes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabin Comșa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 played minutes Fălciu got a freekick which was hit by Marian Pascaru. Edgar Ficsinescu scored 0-7 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abel Paes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marian Pascaru who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Abel Paes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 75th minute, Sabin Comșa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abel Paes. The goal made the score 0-8. 78 minutes into the game, Sabin Comșa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Abel Paes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abel Paes came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Fălciu's Adam Babarada. But to his dismay, Adam Babarada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. The crowd rose to their feet as Fălciu's Edgar Ficsinescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abel Paes. That made the score 0-12 after 91 minutes of play. When the final whistle sounded Fălciu left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Agua Santa.
