An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Satordi in the 7th minute of play forced El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Modesto Olentzaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristo Lorencio kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Diego Satordi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Modesto Olentzaro. El Retorno de Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Satordi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 15 minutes into the game, Bairoletto FC's Carolo Muc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Modesto Olentzaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. El Retorno de Palermo's Modesto Olentzaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Satordi in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Rigoberto Baumar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Olentzaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Carolo Muc made a precise shot to the right of Modesto Olentzaro. El Retorno de Palermo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Satordi in the 27th minute of play forced El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Modesto Olentzaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Modesto Olentzaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Muc, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The El Retorno de Palermo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelino Bernard to make the kick off. Cristo Lorencio kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54thth minute of the game Carolo Muc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Retorno de Palermo's Modesto Olentzaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Baumar came free, but Modesto Olentzaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by El Retorno de Palermo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joselito Pedrosa was slow to take the kick. During this time Bairoletto FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Joselito Pedrosa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but El Retorno de Palermo's Modesto Olentzaro did a great save. Modesto Olentzaro had in the 61stth minute some difficulties stopping Joselito Pedrosa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 5-1 came in the 61st minute when Joselito Pedrosa all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Modesto Olentzaro. In the 65th match minute, Bairoletto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carolo Muc to maneuver through the defense. Modesto Olentzaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Satordi in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bairoletto FC's goalkeeper Jurand Bryk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Bairoletto FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Alejo Aresti hit a great ball. In the 79th minute Carolo Muc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Olentzaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Esteban Panfilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the game, Carolo Muc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Modesto Olentzaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Modesto Olentzaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carolo Muc's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute Carolo Muc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Olentzaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Bairoletto FC's Jurand Bryk got control of the ball when Angelino Bernard tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 99 played minutes El Retorno de Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Panfilo. In the 100th minute, Joselito Pedrosa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and El Retorno de Palermo's Modesto Olentzaro didn't even have to move. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bairoletto FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while El Retorno de Palermo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
