An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernani Fernandes in the 20th minute of play forced Newcastle United's goalkeeper Ksawery Kiepski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ksawery Kiepski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Hermes in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Luiz Paulo de Sousa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leripe Lifestyle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernani Fernandes in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ksawery Kiepski saved Newcastle United from getting behind.
