Uriel Malvin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Cavenaghi in the 12th minute of play. Uriel Malvin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Quinto in the 23rd minute of the match. Ladislao Harriet might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramon Lopez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ladislao Harriet ran back to his position shaking his head. Ladislao Harriet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Ramon Lopez made a huge save. Gerson Cruzado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ladislao Harriet in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ramon Lopez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 34th minute Valentin Quinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Uriel Malvin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute of the match Corralito AFC got a corner. Empire of Soccer's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fernando Cavenaghi ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Corralito AFC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Dan Eckegren hit a great ball. Fernando Cavenaghi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 48 played minutes, Corralito AFC's Fernando Cavenaghi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Uriel Malvin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Corralito AFC reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valentin Quinto to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Quinto got free with Uriel Malvin in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernando Cavenaghi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uriel Malvin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Ladislao Harriet struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Ramon Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Empire of Soccer. Valentin Quinto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Uriel Malvin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Uriel Malvin stood somewhat misplaced when Valentin Quinto came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 63 minute. In the 70th minute, Gerson Cruzado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Corralito AFC's Fernando Cavenaghi in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Dennis Espeland was slow to take the kick. During this time Corralito AFC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Dennis Espeland got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Uriel Malvin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Empire of Soccer getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ilmar Pregel hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bebeto Chaves in the 81st minute of play forced Empire of Soccer's goalkeeper Uriel Malvin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 played minutes Corralito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Espeland. Ladislao Harriet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The corner led Corralito AFC's Dennis Espeland to fire away a dangerous shot which Uriel Malvin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
