If Rui Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dariusz Wos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anders Lundqvist made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Dariusz Wos sent off a good shot on target. Dariusz Wos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anders Lundqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Nils Støle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Durazno in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils Støle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a rather tough play, A.C. Patagonia's Bel Panino got a free kick in the 39th minute. If Markus Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 45th minute there was a penalty for Golden Lions FC. Sigvard Dahlkvist stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nils Støle. 1-2. After the first half Golden Lions FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Nils Støle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Svensson in the 51st minute of play. Nils Støle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loco Durazno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Wos in the 57th minute of the match. Loco Durazno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Wos in the 61st minute of play forced Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Golden Lions FC booed when A.C. Patagonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesse Lingard didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.C. Patagonia's Jesse Lingard was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Anders Lundqvist in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sylwester Sroka in the 73rd minute of the match. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Golden Lions FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rafael Nóbrega was slow to take the kick. During this time A.C. Patagonia's players had a chance to rest. The corner led A.C. Patagonia's Camillo Terrasi to fire away a dangerous shot which Anders Lundqvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Nils Støle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burç Tokhan in the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, A.C. Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Burç Tokhan came free, but Nils Støle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Di Carlo in the 84th minute of play. The Golden Lions FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
