Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) ADM Taquaras's Oliver Bierhoff started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Oliver Bierhoff dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jerônimo Maranhense, 1-0. Wágner Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute, Oliver Bierhoff got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute, Oliver Bierhoff made a precise shot to the right of Jerônimo Maranhense. Nitra FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Oliver Bierhoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jerônimo Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Nitra FC defense, Oliver Bierhoff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerônimo Maranhense. The Nitra FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerônimo Maranhense should have stopped the shot. Jerônimo Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Bierhoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charles Pimenta hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Jerônimo Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Oliver Bierhoff sent off a good shot on target. ADM Taquaras were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Nitra FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Malcolm Westerberg took the corner. The corner led ADM Taquaras's Nildo Rosa to fire away a dangerous shot which Jerônimo Maranhense despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jerônimo Maranhense made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Oliver Bierhoff sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Oliver Bierhoff's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerônimo Maranhense was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After 37 played minutes Nitra FC got a freekick which was hit by Charles Pimenta. In the 39th minute, Charles Pimenta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 40th minute of play forced Nitra FC's goalkeeper Jerônimo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 minutes of play, ADM Taquaras's Oliver Bierhoff made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jerônimo Maranhense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nitra FC's Jerônimo Maranhense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Nitra FC from getting a goal against them. Jerônimo Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Bierhoff in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, ADM Taquaras's Áron Bódog nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerônimo Maranhense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nando Pinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes ADM Taquaras got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Bierhoff. The supporters of ADM Taquaras booed when Nitra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerônimo Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Bierhoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nitra FC's Jerônimo Maranhense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliver Bierhoff in the 65th minute of play. Oliver Bierhoff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Jerônimo Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Nitra FC's Charles Pimenta got a free kick in the 68th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Áron Bódog notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Nitra FC's Jerônimo Maranhense. Jerônimo Maranhense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ADM Taquaras made a substitution. Enio Aparecido replaced Oliver Bierhoff. A collision led to Nitra FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gilvan Bueno hit a great ball. Jerônimo Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm Westerberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nando Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Moreno having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Leon Oinaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. ADM Taquaras's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Oinaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerônimo Maranhense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jerônimo Maranhense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enio Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Enio Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nitra FC's goalkeeper Jerônimo Maranhense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Enio Aparecido put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jerônimo Maranhense. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Enio Aparecido sped through Nitra FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jerônimo Maranhense.
