Erez Manco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Donny Verweijen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jaroslaw Bako firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 10 minutes Palestine's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karol Madajczyk who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on KS Ruch Chorzów's corner Karol Madajczyk fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jaroslaw Bako quite easily take care of the ball. Erez Manco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğan Neşet in the 13th minute of play. The corner led Palestine's Tarık Tayfun to fire away a dangerous shot which Erez Manco despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jaroslaw Bako showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klement Rzeszutko, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Mustafa Namık Tükelalp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erez Manco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Jaroslaw Bako showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klement Rzeszutko, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Bob Budovnits came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the KS Ruch Chorzów fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bob Budovnits couldn't finish the play. Palestine's Jaroslaw Bako proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Palestine from getting a goal against them. KS Ruch Chorzów's supporters rose to their feet, but Donny Verweijen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaroslaw Bako breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Palestine's Jaroslaw Bako got control of the ball when Bob Budovnits tried to sneak it across the goal line. The KS Ruch Chorzów players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Palestine were winning 0-1.

Doğan Neşet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Erez Manco made a huge save. Palestine's Jaroslaw Bako played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beniamin Wielowiejski in the 57th minute of play. Jaroslaw Bako showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beniamin Wielowiejski, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 94th minute, Klement Rzeszutko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donny Verweijen in the 96th minute of play forced Palestine's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Bako to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Palestine eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
