Battal Gazi Bey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarbas Quadros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. After 7 minutes PREZULO FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gökçe Tengiz who took care of the corner kick. The crowd rose to their feet as PREZULO FC's Marquinhos Santos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of William Zombori. That made the score 2-0 after 14 minutes of play. Åke Kilman made in the 19th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Battal Gazi Bey immediately put the ball in play. Marquinhos Santos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. William Zombori came out and tried to block the shot, but Marquinhos Santos slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 23rd minute. Jarbas Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Battal Gazi Bey in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th minute Gökçe Tengiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the S O B E R A N O CIMZ defense, Albano Jaunzuria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of William Zombori. The S O B E R A N O CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that William Zombori should have stopped the shot. Jarbas Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Battal Gazi Bey in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 55th minute, Shi Xi Zhen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristóvão Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. William Zombori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marquinhos Santos, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's William Zombori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Santos in the 70th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marquinhos Santos in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg William Zombori saved S O B E R A N O CIMZ from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristóvão Sousa got free with Jarbas Quadros in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isaac Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Zombori having to interfere. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Christiano Amaral managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Shi Xi Zhen in the 93 minute of the game. S O B E R A N O CIMZ's Battal Gazi Bey got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
