After 4 minutes Nubecitas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ricardinho Chaves who took care of the corner kick. Hélder de Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Amanda van der Sar made a huge save. A collision led to Nubecitas FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Petri Marrero hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Formentera defense, Hélder de Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amanda van der Sar. The Formentera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amanda van der Sar should have stopped the shot. In the 16thth minute of the game Hélder de Lara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Formentera's Amanda van der Sar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paulo Enmanuel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christodoulos Karabogias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, Nubecitas FC's Hélder de Lara made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amanda van der Sar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christodoulos Karabogias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Enmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Christodoulos Karabogias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Chaves in the 27th minute of the match. Hélder de Lara struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Amanda van der Sar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nubecitas FC. In the 34thth minute of the game Hélder de Lara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Formentera's Amanda van der Sar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Amanda van der Sar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hélder de Lara went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 40 minutes, Ricardinho Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Formentera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardinho Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Amanda van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder de Lara in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Hélder de Lara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nubecitas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.

Formentera's Amanda van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder de Lara in the 70th minute of play. In the 75th match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Cresencio to maneuver through the defense. Nubecitas FC's Eduardo Tuzzio was substituted for Fausto Roca. After 76 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Cresencio. Amanda van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordi Ferrari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amanda van der Sar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0.
