The ball went over the crossbar instead. Celestino Dei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edson Chaves in the 15th minute of the match. A collision led to SE Palmeiras getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Edgar Pimenta hit a great ball. A nice corner shot did that Mindaugas Kiškunas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Giuseppe Esteves quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 24th minute, Alfredo Vieira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusebio Nabar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Giuseppe Esteves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eusebio Nabar made a kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Eusebio Nabar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SE Palmeiras's Giuseppe Esteves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Giuseppe Esteves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 78 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Nabar came free, but Giuseppe Esteves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredo Vieira kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Giuseppe Esteves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eusebio Nabar went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 92 minutes, Eusebio Nabar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DUGGAN FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Nabar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Cleto Argider had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giuseppe Esteves. SE Palmeiras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cleto Argider was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Oséias Furlan charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oséias Furlan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SE Palmeiras's Oséias Furlan got a free kick in the 96th minute. DUGGAN FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
