Symba's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomás San Juan in the 4th minute. A nice corner shot did that Imed Akid got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Irakliy Ozhogin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Symba booed when Ríver Late was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Skytt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Imed Akid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute Serhat Oytunç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anis Achour saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gus Wootton in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Irakliy Ozhogin saved Ríver Late from getting behind. With his leg Anis Achour managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Ríver Late's Serhat Oytunç fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Strahil Milyov struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Anis Achour didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ríver Late. Orlando Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 28th minute of the match Kalle Fors sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anis Achour skillfully saved the ball. After 30 played minutes Ríver Late got a freekick which was hit by Primo Buiza. Irakliy Ozhogin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gus Wootton, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A collision led to Ríver Late getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Herbert Spencer hit a great ball. Tomás San Juan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Irakliy Ozhogin. Ríver Late's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anis Achour showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Skytt, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Serhat Oytunç dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anis Achour, 1-0. Anis Achour took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serhat Oytunç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ríver Late's Irakliy Ozhogin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khaled Chérif in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Symba's goal looked a bit too open when Serhat Oytunç came free, but Anis Achour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Carl Skytt made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Skytt in the 53rd minute of play forced Symba's goalkeeper Anis Achour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Irakliy Ozhogin made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Gus Wootton sent off a good shot on target. Symba's Anis Achour played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Strahil Milyov in the 59th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás San Juan got free with Irakliy Ozhogin in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carl Skytt in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anis Achour prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute Serhat Oytunç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anis Achour saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 66 minutes, Serhat Oytunç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ríver Late's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serhat Oytunç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd minute of the match, Gus Wootton got a very nice opportunity to score, but Irakliy Ozhogin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cordera Pardaves hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Serhat Oytunç had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anis Achour. Symba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serhat Oytunç was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 89thth minute of the game Serhat Oytunç who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Symba's Anis Achour was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Symba's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sarmiento came free, but Anis Achour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cordera Pardaves might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anis Achour. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cordera Pardaves ran back to his position shaking his head. Symba's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
