The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind KoLiber's goalkeeper Miromir Rydzewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miromir Rydzewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Jarmulowicz in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of KoLiber booed when WZG Sandomierz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafal Niemoj didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zygmunt Jarmulowicz struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Miromir Rydzewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WZG Sandomierz. A collision led to KoLiber getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Herbert Jazwiec hit a great ball. KoLiber's Miromir Rydzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Jarmulowicz in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the game Betão Ramos made a throw-in which Zygmunt Jarmulowicz played forward. When Zygmunt Jarmulowicz came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the WZG Sandomierz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zygmunt Jarmulowicz couldn't finish the play. Olaf Basinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwo Budrewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Miromir Rydzewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Jarmulowicz in the 33rd minute of play. Miromir Rydzewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zygmunt Jarmulowicz's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. When Zygmunt Jarmulowicz came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the WZG Sandomierz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zygmunt Jarmulowicz couldn't finish the play. The wind increased when Zygmunt Jarmulowicz made the kick off in the second half. If Ryszard Siekierka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Jandryca got free with Olaf Basinski in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. WZG Sandomierz's attentive Konstanty Gotfryd managed to snatch the ball when Cyprian Cieslak made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. KoLiber's Miromir Rydzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Jarmulowicz in the 65th minute of play. Zygmunt Jarmulowicz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miromir Rydzewski having to make a save. In the 69th minute Zygmunt Jarmulowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miromir Rydzewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KoLiber's Piotr Bielski suffered a sore knee after 73 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 73 minutes into the game, Konstanty Gotfryd was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. WZG Sandomierz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KoLiber the free kick. In the 73rd match minute, WZG Sandomierz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstanty Gotfryd to maneuver through the defense. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miromir Rydzewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. KoLiber made a substitution. Adam Walkowski replaced Iwo Budrewicz. The throw-in from Cyprian Cieslak in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by WZG Sandomierz's Hugon Czciborek. Zygmunt Jarmulowicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miromir Rydzewski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zygmunt Jarmulowicz ran back to his position shaking his head. Miromir Rydzewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Jarmulowicz in the 89th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, KoLiber's Filip Jandryca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olaf Basinski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
