In the 18th match minute, Silver Squad AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fryderyk Mondrowski to maneuver through the defense. Julius Reuter hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Damazy Radzyminski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Alf Tempel made a huge save. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Hagedorn in the 21st minute of play. When Rapid Wien's Albert Kraft in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Silver Squad AFC's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Rapid Wien's Alf Tempel got control of the ball when Damazy Radzyminski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute Daniel Hagedorn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waud De Geyter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silver Squad AFC's Waud De Geyter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Hagedorn in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Robin Dommröse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waud De Geyter was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Waud De Geyter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Kraft, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damazy Radzyminski was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Albert Kraft took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Waud De Geyter to make any attempt to save it. Fryderyk Mondrowski kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Silver Squad AFC! Waud De Geyter had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Daniel Hagedorn's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball In the 60th minute, Daniel Hagedorn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rapid Wien fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. A collision led to Silver Squad AFC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Izydor Czysta hit a great ball. Alf Tempel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loid De Keuster in the 74th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Loid De Keuster ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alf Tempel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. With an all-out effort, Rapid Wien's Waud De Geyter threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Robin Dommröse, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mirco Kähler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90 minutes of play, Rapid Wien's Albert Kraft made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waud De Geyter was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute, Julius Reuter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute of the match Henrik Ooms shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alf Tempel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rapid Wien's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
