After 2 played minutes Gene Centaurs Munich got a freekick which was hit by Klaus Schwinn. 3 minutes into the match, Vali Nițu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gene Centaurs Munich's Thomas Trenker. Thomas Trenker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Racing Club Warwick's Craig Osborn got control of the ball when Andreas Ahlstedt tried to sneak it across the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Gene Centaurs Munich's goal looked a bit too open when Vali Nițu came free, but Thomas Trenker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Darryl Nicholson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Darryl Nicholson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Trenker having to interfere. Thomas Trenker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darryl Nicholson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes of play, Racing Club Warwick's Darryl Nicholson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Trenker was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thomas Trenker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darryl Nicholson in the 20th minute of play. Lonzo Heraso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Craig Osborn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Gene Centaurs Munich's goal looked a bit too open when Vali Nițu came free, but Thomas Trenker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Trenker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vali Nițu in the 29th minute of play. Racing Club Warwick's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Simeon Karabatsos in the 30th minute. The corner led Racing Club Warwick's Simeon Karabatsos to fire away a dangerous shot which Thomas Trenker despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Edward Wilson scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thomas Trenker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39thth minute of the game Vali Nițu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gene Centaurs Munich's Thomas Trenker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 40 minutes Gene Centaurs Munich's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Simeon Karabatsos who took care of the corner kick. Leopold Betz lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gene Centaurs Munich! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lonzo Heraso was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Målare in the 52nd minute of play forced Racing Club Warwick's goalkeeper Craig Osborn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vali Nițu got free with Thomas Trenker in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gene Centaurs Munich's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Simeon Karabatsos was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing Club Warwick's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Racing Club Warwick's corner Simeon Karabatsos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thomas Trenker quite easily take care of the ball. In the 62nd minute, Klaus Schwinn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Racing Club Warwick were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Gene Centaurs Munich's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Simeon Karabatsos took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Edward Wilson heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Gene Centaurs Munich's Wiggo Wiehn quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Simeon Karabatsos, made in the 70th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vali Nițu in the 74th minute of play forced Gene Centaurs Munich's goalkeeper Thomas Trenker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Wiggo Wiehn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gene Centaurs Munich's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Racing Club Warwick the free kick. The supporters of Racing Club Warwick booed when Gene Centaurs Munich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiggo Wiehn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Racing Club Warwick made a substitution. Tyrone Coburn replaced Eddy Horner. Racing Club Warwick's Ivor Bensley was substituted for Simon Bedford. Darryl Nicholson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Thomas Trenker made a huge save. Vali Nițu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Thomas Trenker made a huge save. The throw-in from Ivor Bensley in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gene Centaurs Munich's Tsuneo Basten. In the 82nd match minute, Racing Club Warwick was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivor Bensley to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute Vali Nițu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Trenker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gene Centaurs Munich's Tsuneo Basten got a free kick in the 85th minute. After 87 played minutes Gene Centaurs Munich got a freekick which was hit by Tsuneo Basten.
