Racing Club Warwick's Craig Osborn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasimir Kehr in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gene Centaurs Munich's Azubeli Briñas got a free kick in the 27th minute. Simeon Karabatsos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomas Trenker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Craig Osborn stood somewhat misplaced when Jochen Schultheiss came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 31 minute. Alec Heath received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Thomas Trenker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Racing Club Warwick were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after Gene Centaurs Munich's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Simeon Karabatsos took the corner. Edward Wilson was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edward Wilson in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Trenker saved Gene Centaurs Munich from getting behind. 59 minutes into the match, Gene Centaurs Munich's goal looked a bit too open when Vali Nițu came free, but Thomas Trenker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Leopold Betz put in a rough tackle. 62 minutes into the game, one of Gene Centaurs Munich:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 70 minutes into the match, Gene Centaurs Munich's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Wilson came free, but Thomas Trenker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thomas Trenker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Wilson in the 72nd minute. Vali Nițu in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thomas Trenker, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Darryl Nicholson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Racing Club Warwick's Joel Afful was substituted for Edward Wilson. Gene Centaurs Munich's Wiggo Wiehn was substituted for Andreas Ahlstedt. 82 minutes into the game, Tsuneo Basten threw the ball into play from the sideline. Racing Club Warwick's Alec Heath quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Thomas Trenker was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Darryl Nicholson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Darryl Nicholson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. The audience was convinced that Vali Nițu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Trenker was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Tsuneo Basten made in the 91st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Racing Club Warwick's Darryl Nicholson.
