Eztebe Cortinas took the corner. 7 minutes into the match, Centenario City FC's Alessio Punta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Méret narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lazlo Lauzier kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Gonzalo Vito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Chancy Olympique defense, Alessio Punta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Méret. The Chancy Olympique fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Méret should have stopped the shot. Alessio Punta took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Méret. Alex Méret dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Alessio Punta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Centenario City FC's Alex Méret threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alessio Punta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alessio Punta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alex Méret read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Centenario City FC were awarded a corner. Eztebe Cortinas went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel van der Velden in the 32nd minute of play forced Centenario City FC's goalkeeper Edmund Piczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Chancy Olympique's Marcel van der Velden nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edmund Piczak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 37th minute, Stefan Schär hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Centenario City FC's Edmund Piczak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawel Fleischer in the 39th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Chancy Olympique made a substitution. Baldemar Prats replaced Lazlo Lauzier. The wind increased when Fabián Ruiz made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Centenario City FC's Alessio Punta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Méret narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessio Punta in the 57th minute of play forced Chancy Olympique's goalkeeper Alex Méret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pawel Fleischer got free with Edmund Piczak in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Centenario City FC's Edmund Piczak got control of the ball when Christian Kracht tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Alessio Punta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Méret was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Chancy Olympique's Vladimir Weyermann was substituted for Pawel Fleischer. Centenario City FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. After taking down the ball on Centenario City FC's corner Eztebe Cortinas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alex Méret quite easily take care of the ball. In the 80th minute of the game Stefan Schär made a throw-in which Marcel van der Velden played forward. In the 83rd minute of the match, Marcel van der Velden tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edmund Piczak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gonzalo Vito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Méret having to make a save.

Chancy Olympique's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
