After taking down the ball on Villaverde Celeste Clube's corner Guo Ao fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Duman Temizcan quite easily take care of the ball. In the 28th minute Roy Makaay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duman Temizcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erlin Håland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind La Git!'s goalkeeper Duman Temizcan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maurício Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nenko Reza having to interfere. When William Lucas came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Villaverde Celeste Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Lucas couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Roy Makaay put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Duman Temizcan. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 1-1. Extra-time would have to be played.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Villaverde Celeste Clube's Roy Makaay that got to make the kick off. Duman Temizcan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armandinho Xavier in the 113th minute of the match. The Villaverde Celeste Clube players wondered just what they needed to do win this one. 105 minutes had now been played and the teams were still tied. Penalties were starting to look likely.

The throw-in from Sagi Bek in the 118th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Villaverde Celeste Clube's Zeledon Vachon. Sagi Bek made in the 123rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Villaverde Celeste Clube's Dino Manfredi. Nenko Reza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurício Trigo in the 124th minute of the match. In the 126th minute Roy Makaay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duman Temizcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Git!:s Duman Temizcan showed great skill when he stopped Roy Makaay:s penalty. The referee gave La Git! a penalty, 141 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Maurício Trigo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Villaverde Celeste Clube's Nenko Reza. 3-4. In the 144th minute there was a penalty for La Git!. Demircan Nadi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nenko Reza. 3-5. The Villaverde Celeste Clube supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching La Git!'s performance. The match ended with a win for La Git!.
