Halil Dervişoğlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomasz Piwko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Halil Dervişoğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. Halil Dervişoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomasz Piwko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Mariusz Zgonina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Costică Peter made a huge save. Costică Peter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcin Snaza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costică Peter was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcin Snaza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, EFSANE SİVASSPOR's Halil Dervişoğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomasz Piwko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Reşat Rasif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mariusz Zgoninas short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Costică Peter to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 33 minutes EFSANE SİVASSPOR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Apolo Beltza who took care of the corner kick. Tytus Kajfasz kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When EFSANE SİVASSPOR's Halil Dervişoğlu in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Halil Dervişoğlu to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Halil Dervişoğlu in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomasz Piwko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. EFSANE SİVASSPOR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jurand Wolniewicz in the 52nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Halil Dervişoğlu in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomasz Piwko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Costică Peter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagmar Zupančič, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 57th minute Reşat Rasif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costică Peter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomasz Piwko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Halil Dervişoğlu in the 61st minute. Costică Peter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcin Snaza's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 70 minutes into the match, EFSANE SİVASSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Marcin Snaza came free, but Costică Peter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Loi came free, but Tomasz Piwko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costică Peter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reşat Rasif in the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Marcin Snaza made a precise shot to the right of Costică Peter. EFSANE SİVASSPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Sergen Volkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 2-2. Extra-time would have to be played.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Marcin Snaza that got to make the kick off. With his leg Costică Peter managed to avoid a goal in the 99thth minute, when KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Mariusz Zgonina fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, EFSANE SİVASSPOR's Uğur Erçelik got a free kick in the 103rd minute. Costică Peter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reşat Rasif in the 104th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariusz Zgonina in the 109th minute of play forced EFSANE SİVASSPOR's goalkeeper Costică Peter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ali Koc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 112th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomasz Piwko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Koc in the 112th minute of the match. The KS Piastów Sosnowiec players wondered just what they needed to do win this one. 105 minutes had now been played and the teams were still tied. Penalties were starting to look likely.

In the 119th minute, Reşat Rasif left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Piastów Sosnowiec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. EFSANE SİVASSPOR's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
