In the 4th minute, Alex Elenescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Árpád Mészáros. The goal made the score 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, TiGrEs Fx's Alex Elenescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Árpád Mészáros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Budapest's Árpád Mészáros got control of the ball when Alex Elenescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Máté Polgár had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franc Merlot. TiGrEs Fx's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Máté Polgár was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a little luck, FC Budapest's Árpád Mészáros got control of the ball when Alex Elenescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Árpád Mészáros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Elenescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Elenescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Árpád Mészáros made a huge save. Pál Bollobás took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franc Merlot. Franc Merlot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Gilberto Rancaño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Árpád Mészáros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Alex Elenescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Budapest's Árpád Mészáros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the FC Budapest defense, Alex Elenescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Árpád Mészáros. The FC Budapest fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Árpád Mészáros should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute, Alex Elenescu made a precise shot to the right of Árpád Mészáros. FC Budapest's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Horácio Ceresso hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. TiGrEs Fx's Franc Merlot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Szőlősi in the 41st minute of play. Franc Merlot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viktor Szőlősi's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute TiGrEs Fx were awarded a corner. Horácio Ceresso went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led TiGrEs Fx's Horácio Ceresso to fire away a dangerous shot which Árpád Mészáros despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. TiGrEs Fx's Gerardo Trimiño quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jeromos Mayer, made in the 45th minute of the game. Árpád Mészáros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Elenescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dávid Tóth was the one to do the kick off. When Jeromos Mayer fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Budapest's protests and gave Jeromos Mayer a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Budapest getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Jeromos Mayer hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Ceresso in the 54th minute of play forced FC Budapest's goalkeeper Árpád Mészáros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Árpád Mészáros came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by TiGrEs Fx's Alex Elenescu. But to his dismay, Alex Elenescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Alex Elenescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Árpád Mészáros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alex Elenescu ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Elenescu in the 60th minute of play forced FC Budapest's goalkeeper Árpád Mészáros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Árpád Mészáros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Elenescu's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. When TiGrEs Fx's Alex Elenescu in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Budapest's goalie prevented a goal. In the 65th minute TiGrEs Fx were awarded a corner. Horácio Ceresso went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Horácio Ceresso got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Árpád Mészáros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Árpád Mészáros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Rancaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Rancaño in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Árpád Mészáros saved FC Budapest from getting behind. When Bernát Pócsi fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Budapest's protests and gave Bernát Pócsi a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Budapest! Árpád Mészáros had in the 72ndth minute some difficulties stopping Horácio Ceresso's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Gilberto Rancaño blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Árpád Mészáros having to make a save. Gilberto Rancaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Árpád Mészáros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Rancaño in the 95th minute of play.

For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Budapest players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for TiGrEs Fx.
