But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jácome Vilardell couldn't finish the play. The supporters of KRAKEN FC booed when Kakeros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Bittor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kakeros FC's Faustino Rencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Kakeros FC from getting a goal against them. In the 9th match minute, Kakeros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Frederico to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute Mateo Uhin suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cássio Mansilha during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kakeros FC made a substitution. Sebastian Felipo replaced Mateo Uhin. A collision led to KRAKEN FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Cássio Mansilha hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Matai in the 18th minute of play forced KRAKEN FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Urraburu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kakeros FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Xeromo Llarena scored to the left of an out of position Faustino Rencio, making the score, 1-0. 28 minutes into the match, Kakeros FC's goalkeeper Faustino Rencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xeromo Llarena. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kakeros FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaroslaw Psikuta was slow to take the kick. During this time KRAKEN FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to KRAKEN FC's Cássio Mansilha getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 32nd minute Xeromo Llarena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustino Rencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustino Rencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xeromo Llarena, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 42 played minutes Kakeros FC got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Regis. In the 46th match minute, KRAKEN FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferrer Collazos to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gerardo Matai made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Kakeros FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Arnoldo Prejun hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Kakeros FC's zone, Xeromo Llarena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Rencio came out of the goal and Xeromo Llarena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Cipriano Regis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacobo Urraburu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Matai in the 69th minute of play. Marcelo Resto charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelo Resto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kakeros FC's attentive Marcelo Resto managed to snatch the ball when Cássio Mansilha made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. KRAKEN FC's Jacobo Urraburu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Montez in the 73rd minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Cipriano Regis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kakeros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KRAKEN FC the free kick. Cipriano Regis kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Faustino Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leoverliz Carlos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabian Sandoval hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The supporters of Kakeros FC booed when KRAKEN FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blanco Muelas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kakeros FC's Faustino Rencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xeromo Llarena in the 79th minute of play. Xeromo Llarena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Faustino Rencio having to make a save. 86 minutes into the match, Xeromo Llarena notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Kakeros FC's Faustino Rencio. Faustino Rencio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Faustino Rencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xeromo Llarena in the 90th minute of play.

KRAKEN FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
