The long shot by Onur Türkoğlu in the 6th minute really tested Keith Scotland's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 13th minute of the match, Onur Türkoğlu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Keith Scotland saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 14th minute, Fethi Harmandalı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Floodish FC booed when Dejavu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irinel Claudiescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match, Hadi Pektaşi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Keith Scotland was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 26th minute, Behram Ünsevin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keith Scotland was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ruperto Burni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blair McClure, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Dejavu's Ruperto Burni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Davie in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paddy McNeish in the 35th minute of play forced Dejavu's goalkeeper Ruperto Burni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruperto Burni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Davie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Paddy McNeish left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floodish FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Behram Ünsevin took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Keith Scotland to make any attempt to save it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paddy McNeish made a kick off. Dejavu's Ruperto Burni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Dejavu from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hadi Pektaşi in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Keith Scotland saved Floodish FC from getting behind. Floodish FC's Keith Scotland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onur Türkoğlu in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Floodish FC's Sam Fletcher got a free kick in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Onur Türkoğlu in the 92nd minute of play forced Floodish FC's goalkeeper Keith Scotland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keith Scotland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Behram Ünsevin in the 94th minute of the match. Keith Scotland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Onur Türkoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Floodish FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
