Zdzislaw Zagrodny was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pawel Brożek in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zdzislaw Zagrodny prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Zdzislaw Zagrodny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawel Brożek in the 18th minute of play. Ronaldão de Amaral made a great header on Los kyes's corner, it was just that Pogoń Stawiszyn's Zdzislaw Zagrodny managed to reach the ball for a save. Ronaldão de Amaral took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zdzislaw Zagrodny. Zdzislaw Zagrodny dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Eutropio Jauregui was slow to take the kick. During this time Los kyes's players had a chance to rest. Pawel Brożek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zdzislaw Zagrodny read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Zdzislaw Zagrodny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pawel Brożek, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pogoń Stawiszyn's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eutropio Jauregui was slow to take the kick. During this time Los kyes's players had a chance to rest. Zdzislaw Zagrodny had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Luis Carballido's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Zdzislaw Zagrodny came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Los kyes's Luis Carballido. But to his dismay, Luis Carballido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Zdzislaw Zagrodny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pawel Brożek went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Pawel Brożek took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zdzislaw Zagrodny. Zdzislaw Zagrodny dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Zdzislaw Zagrodny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adama Traore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Adama Traore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Pawel Brożek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zdzislaw Zagrodny was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Eutropio Jauregui kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. In the 53rd minute of the match Los kyes got a corner. Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eutropio Jauregui ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Los kyes's Luis Carballido got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute Ryszard Pilipiec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Grzegorz Cupial managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pogoń Stawiszyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Grzegorz Cupial was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vidal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Los kyes's Laurgain Jorquera was substituted for Ronaldão de Amaral. Los kyes's Colas Alcantara was substituted for Sergi Solo. If Pawel Brożek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zdzislaw Zagrodny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Brożek in the 66th minute of play. If Pawel Brożek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 67 minutes into the match, Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Zagrodny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pawel Brożek. Pawel Brożek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zdzislaw Zagrodny read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After 71 minutes Pogoń Stawiszyn's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eutropio Jauregui who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Bertil Bergström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pogoń Stawiszyn's Zdzislaw Zagrodny did a great save. In the 73rdth minute of the game Pawel Brożek who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pogoń Stawiszyn's Zdzislaw Zagrodny was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Pawel Brożek put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Zdzislaw Zagrodny. Zdzislaw Zagrodny made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Aras Erten sent off a good shot on target. Aras Erten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zdzislaw Zagrodny having to make a save. In the 80th minute Aras Erten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Zagrodny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Zdzislaw Zagrodny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aras Erten. Aras Erten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zdzislaw Zagrodny read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Aras Erten received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zdzislaw Zagrodny came out and tried to block the shot, but Aras Erten slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 86th minute. Zdzislaw Zagrodny made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Aras Erten sent off a good shot on target. After 90 minutes Pogoń Stawiszyn's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eutropio Jauregui who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Eutropio Jauregui got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zdzislaw Zagrodny quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Zdzislaw Zagrodny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Pogoń Stawiszyn from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Pogoń Stawiszyn's zone, Aras Erten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zdzislaw Zagrodny came out of the goal and Aras Erten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the match was over Los kyes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pogoń Stawiszyn throughout the match.
