Espirillo FC's Jorge Iztal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Espirillo FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Baraquiel in the 5th minute of play forced Śląsk Bytom's goalkeeper Antoni Brama to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Iztal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulryk Miazga, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Jorge Iztal was a little too slow when Ulryk Miazga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Śląsk Bytom's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Arotza came free, but Antoni Brama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Iztal made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Tymoteusz Dunajski sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Iztal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlo Monni in the 24th minute of the match. With a little luck, Espirillo FC's Jorge Iztal got control of the ball when Ulryk Miazga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antoni Brama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Cutberto in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Arnoldo Arotza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Brama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulryk Miazga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Jorge Iztal made a huge save. 43 minutes into the match, Espirillo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Monni came free, but Jorge Iztal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Śląsk Bytom's Aleksander Birkenhagen got a free kick in the 44th minute. Antoni Brama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregorio Hotz in the 46th minute of the match. After 47 played minutes Espirillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Demario. After 48 played minutes, Śląsk Bytom's Carlo Rapone shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jorge Iztal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Śląsk Bytom reached it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregorio Hotz was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Ulryk Miazga put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jorge Iztal. In the 58th match minute, Espirillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Baraquiel to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute Carlo Monni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Iztal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Śląsk Bytom's Roland Tomaszewski was substituted for Roch Zajonc. In the 64th minute of the match Espirillo FC got a corner. Śląsk Bytom's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aaron Cutberto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Espirillo FC's Freddy Lamberto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Antoni Brama in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 74th minute Hakkı Elçin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Iztal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Śląsk Bytom's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Elia came free, but Antoni Brama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Hakkı Elçin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorge Iztal was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Jorge Iztal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakkı Elçin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Espirillo FC's zone, Hakkı Elçin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Iztal came out of the goal and Hakkı Elçin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
