Artur Borubar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danil Shashkov in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Borubar saved FC Zhelezna from getting behind. Artur Borubar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danil Shashkov in the 9th minute of the match. If Danil Shashkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Artur Borubar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danil Shashkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narciso Macedo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gilberto Garaile showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. When Gilberto Garaile came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the FC Zhelezna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Garaile couldn't finish the play. After 33 minutes, Afiq Boon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Zhelezna and the Blumenau Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Afiq Boon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danil Shashkov in the 34th minute of play forced FC Zhelezna's goalkeeper Artur Borubar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Gilberto Garaile notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Blumenau Esporte Clube's Narciso Macedo. Narciso Macedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Jürgen Klinsmann was substituted for Marcelo Alagoano. Glauco Cruz made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Blumenau Esporte Clube's Hortêncio Fantini. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Garaile was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Neville Staples hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Zhelezna made a substitution. Milan Kalendzhiev replaced Neville Staples. FC Zhelezna's Niko Kranjčar was substituted for Glauco Cruz. In the 58th match minute, FC Zhelezna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neville Staples to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the match, FC Zhelezna's goalkeeper Artur Borubar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danil Shashkov. FC Zhelezna's Artur Borubar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save FC Zhelezna from getting a goal against them. FC Zhelezna's Artur Borubar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jürgen Klinsmann in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Tomas Gartzen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Narciso Macedo. Blumenau Esporte Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Gartzen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 69th minute Milan Kalendzhiev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Zhelezna's Milan Kalendzhiev managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hortêncio Fantini in the 74 minute of the game. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Narciso Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radko Tetikov in the 81st minute of play. Narciso Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radko Tetikov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Radko Tetikov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narciso Macedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Tami Abraham was substituted for Danil Shashkov. Narciso Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Gartzen in the 89th minute of the match. Narciso Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Gartzen in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Blumenau Esporte Clube's Hortêncio Fantini got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the game, Leandro Soares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Zhelezna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blumenau Esporte Clube the free kick. The supporters of Blumenau Esporte Clube booed when FC Zhelezna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Blumenau Esporte Clube players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Zhelezna.
