Stig-Åke Nyman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steffe Lenaerts took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidiu Acatincăi. Ovidiu Acatincăi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Melquiades Mambru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Lorenz in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Berdaitz in the 13th minute of play forced AFTER GYM FC's goalkeeper Ovidiu Acatincăi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MORPH's Melquiades Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Lorenz in the 15th minute of play. Sixto Lorenz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Mambru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steffe Lenaerts in the 24th minute of play forced AFTER GYM FC's goalkeeper Ovidiu Acatincăi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Steffe Lenaerts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidiu Acatincăi was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After 27 played minutes AFTER GYM FC got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Dolar. In the 29th minute, Steffe Lenaerts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Melquiades Mambru made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Emiliano Txema sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Emiliano Txema kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Melquiades Mambru. That made the score 2-1 in the 33 minute of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind MORPH's goalkeeper Melquiades Mambru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emiliano Txema hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Steffe Lenaerts made a precise shot to the right of Ovidiu Acatincăi. AFTER GYM FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 44 minutes into the match, Steffe Lenaerts notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of AFTER GYM FC's Ovidiu Acatincăi. Ovidiu Acatincăi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emiliano Berdaitz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Sixto Lorenz made a precise shot to the right of Melquiades Mambru. MORPH's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Melquiades Chumo kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Ovidiu Acatincăi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Steffe Lenaerts in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Burdzel in the 71st minute of play forced MORPH's goalkeeper Melquiades Mambru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steffe Lenaerts blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidiu Acatincăi having to make a save. 73 minutes into the match, AFTER GYM FC's goal looked a bit too open when Steffe Lenaerts came free, but Ovidiu Acatincăi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MORPH's Melquiades Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maciej Burdzel in the 74th minute of play. Melquiades Mambru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maciej Burdzel in the 76th minute of the match. After 77 minutes MORPH's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Humberto Sales who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to MORPH getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Guido Lorencio hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maciej Burdzel in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melquiades Mambru saved MORPH from getting behind. Maciej Burdzel might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Melquiades Mambru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maciej Burdzel ran back to his position shaking his head. Gustavo-Hernán Díaz made in the 93rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Orlando Lopez however managed to control. The score was 3-3 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.

After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Maciej Burdzel made the kick off and play began. If Maciej Burdzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maciej Burdzel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 106th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, AFTER GYM FC's Melquiades Chumo got a free kick in the 108th minute. Ovidiu Acatincăi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffe Lenaerts in the 109th minute of play. Both sets of players were looking tired when the whistle went to end the half. Everyone was pleased to get a few minutes to rest before extra-time resumed.

When it was time for second half in the overtime, the players were a bit slow, but they soon became more alert when it was time for Gustavo-Hernán Vallejo to make the kick off. In the 117th minute, Maciej Burdzel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFTER GYM FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. MORPH's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
