Hernan Fernanco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonard Popowicz's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Krzysztof Wierzcholek in the 7th minute. Ennio Furia tried in the game's 7th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Hernan Fernanco. An annoying self made goal, 1-0. Lucio Bingen hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Popowicz got free with Hernan Fernanco in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Expreso del oeste's zone, Leonard Popowicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernan Fernanco came out of the goal and Leonard Popowicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonard Popowicz took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernan Fernanco. Hernan Fernanco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Leonard Popowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Expreso del oeste's Hernan Fernanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Popowicz in the 27th minute of play. Expreso del oeste's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Cristian Lelescu scored to the left of an out of position Hernan Fernanco, making the score, 3-0. Radomir Zurawski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaby Diares in the 41st minute of the match. After 42 played minutes Expreso del oeste got a freekick which was hit by Gaby Diares. With an all-out effort, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Hernan Fernanco threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leonard Popowicz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Expreso del oeste fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Expreso del oeste's Honorio Mikeldi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonard Popowicz was the one to do the kick off. The referee gave RW AHLEN-KNURÓW a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Krzysztof Wierzcholek, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Expreso del oeste's Hernan Fernanco. 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Mikeldi in the 67th minute of play forced RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's goalkeeper Radomir Zurawski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonard Popowicz took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernan Fernanco. Hernan Fernanco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW made a substitution. Radowit Budrewicz replaced Cristian Lelescu. Radomir Zurawski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaby Diares in the 77th minute. Jason Ghost hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Hernan Fernanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Treppa in the 87th minute of play. With a little luck, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Radomir Zurawski got control of the ball when Gaby Diares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Radomir Zurawski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaby Diares's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. In the 93rdth minute of the game Gaby Diares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Radomir Zurawski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of RW AHLEN-KNURÓW booed when Expreso del oeste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jason Ghost didn't get a good kick on the ball. RW AHLEN-KNURÓW were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Expreso del oeste's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Krzysztof Wierzcholek took the corner. The corner led to RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Slawomir Cholewa getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Slawomir Cholewa charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Slawomir Cholewa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, RW AHLEN-KNURÓW's Slawomir Cholewa got a free kick in the 98th minute.
