Coriano FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wieslaw Marud was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wieslaw Marud got free with Beppe Puce in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute Damiano Di Nucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Novak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Carlsberg getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Remus Costeiantu hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Dino Baciadonne in the 24th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the James Novak's left hand side. When the referee signaled the end of the first half of extra-time the score was 1-1. The players had a chance to rest for a moment before the second half.

After 127 minutes of play, FC Carlsberg's Gavril Sichitiu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beppe Puce was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Coriano FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Carlsberg.
