The Valar's Alfred Hajto quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tristan Falco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gau Resto in the 96th minute of play. Neither team could find the winning goal during normal time. The second half finished 1-1. Extra-time would have to be played.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Willie Colon in Atlético Municipal was the one to initiate the kick off. Gau Resto kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. A collision led to Atlético Municipal getting a freekick after 109 minutes play. Cordero Gipils hit a great ball. In the 110th minute, Alfred Hajto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score was still level after an even and exciting first-half in extra time. The players took a moment to grab a drink and get instructions from their managers before swapping ends.

Both teams seemed ready to fight when The Valar's Alfred Hajto did the kick off and started the second half in the overtime. Chuan Cintron stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfred Hajto's shot from short distance in the 119th minute. Tristan Falco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gau Resto, who was totally free with the ball in the 123rd minute. Claude Sena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 124th minute of the match, but Tristan Falco made a huge save. Codruț Uncheşu struck a weak shot in the 127th minute. Chuan Cintron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Valar. After some careless play in the Atlético Municipal defense, Alfred Hajto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chuan Cintron. The Atlético Municipal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chuan Cintron should have stopped the shot. The Valar were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Atlético Municipal for a fine match.
