In the 12th match minute, ACF Fiorentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Adrio to maneuver through the defense. INTER Sosnowiec's Leszek Wielopolski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save INTER Sosnowiec from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes into the match, ACF Fiorentina's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Literski came free, but Claudinei Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charlie Vercalsteren made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ACF Fiorentina's Hu Xi. In the 18th minute, Maximino Cabezon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, ACF Fiorentina's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Moizuk came free, but Claudinei Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinei Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Moizuk in the 24th minute of the match. ACF Fiorentina's Claudinei Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Literski in the 26th minute of play. If Maximino Cabezon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 28th minute of the match, Maximino Cabezon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leszek Wielopolski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Maximino Cabezon might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leszek Wielopolski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximino Cabezon ran back to his position shaking his head. Leszek Wielopolski came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by ACF Fiorentina's Maximino Cabezon. But to his dismay, Maximino Cabezon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Maximino Cabezon struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Leszek Wielopolski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ACF Fiorentina. ACF Fiorentina's Claudinei Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Villegas in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Villegas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claudinei Velloso. ACF Fiorentina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leopoldo Villegas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Leszek Wielopolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Cabezon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

INTER Sosnowiec's Leszek Wielopolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Teofilio in the 96th minute of play. After 97 played minutes INTER Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Michael Klein.

ACF Fiorentina's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
