The supporters of ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ booed when Luisxemburgo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Caetano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute, Luisinho Cardozo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diamantino Jacinto to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulo Galão came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s Elói Prata. But to his dismay, Elói Prata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞ were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Luisxemburgo FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sílvio Luiz Quirino took the corner. After taking down the ball on ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s corner Sílvio Luiz Quirino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paulo Galão quite easily take care of the ball. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Sílvio Luiz Quirino put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Paulo Galão. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Wesley Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. ♞Sir Galahad FC♞'s supporters rose to their feet, but Wesley Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Galão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
