In the 6th minute Dacian Oprea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Emmanuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peng Zhou Yang hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Ás Ronaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Libardo Mayen having to interfere. If Lino Alfonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Alfonso kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Gaizkine Urbina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Emmanuel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Libardo Mayen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Alfonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Libardo Mayen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ás Ronaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Libardo Mayen made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Mete Gol sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Ás Ronaldo made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Lino Alfonso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Libardo Mayen was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Libardo Mayen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Alfonso's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute, Ás Ronaldo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Libardo Mayen was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Bartosz Salamon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Libardo Mayen. Sopa de Caracol FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lino Alfonso in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Libardo Mayen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ernesto Emmanuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Oprea in the 71st minute of play. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Zeng Zhen Chuan sped through Madison's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ernesto Emmanuel. Madison made a substitution. Angel Rioja replaced Ege Træet. After a rather tough play, Madison's Ás Ronaldo got a free kick in the 84th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Elliot Colvin threw the ball into play from the sideline. Madison's Bartosz Salamon quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Mete Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Madison's supporters rose to their feet, but Mete Gol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Libardo Mayen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Sopa de Caracol FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
