The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bennvar Post scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodriguinho de Castro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Marciano Hendrickx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roman Vachon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Hendrickx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the game, Marciano Hendrickx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Roman Vachon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Roman Vachon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marciano Hendrickx went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. A sloppy throw-in by Makis Antoniadis in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Beek City's Heiko Sibon. The supporters of Manfredi AFC booed when Beek City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitri Diependaele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Vachon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Hendrickx in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Manfredi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Hendrickx came free, but Roman Vachon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes Manfredi AFC got a freekick which was hit by Love Coca. After the first half Beek City were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Rodriguinho de Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennvar Post in the 55th minute of the match. Benny Stolle lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Beek City's Guy De Coster was substituted for Salvador Rosalio. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Beek City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Manfredi AFC:s goal. Beek City:s Rodriguinho de Castro showed great skill when he stopped Kieran Listkowski:s penalty. 65 minutes into the match, Beek City's goal looked a bit too open when Bennvar Post came free, but Rodriguinho de Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Beek City defense, Bennvar Post kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodriguinho de Castro. The Beek City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodriguinho de Castro should have stopped the shot. Manfredi AFC made a substitution. Son Banana replaced Bennvar Post. Rodriguinho de Castro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Beek City made a substitution. Anton Liebrechts replaced Josef Valkenaers. Son Banana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Rodriguinho de Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodriguinho de Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Son Banana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Beek City booed when Manfredi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Guillelmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manfredi AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
