Cecilio Jax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mevlüt Serin, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the game, Wy-pas's Roch Mazierski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cecilio Jax made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With an all-out effort, San Martin de Tucuman's Wincent Cielencki threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Justino Confesor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 13th minute Lukasz Jaszynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Jax saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cecilio Jax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mevlüt Serin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luciano Selmo got free with Wincent Cielencki in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulino Lamberto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wincent Cielencki. That made the score 1-1 in the 20 minute of play. In the 24th minute Roch Mazierski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Jax saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 minutes of play, Wy-pas's Roch Mazierski made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cecilio Jax was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 27th minute Lukasz Jaszynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Jax saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cecilio Jax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Mazierski in the 30th minute of play. Wincent Cielencki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Confesor in the 35th minute of play. Roch Mazierski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cecilio Jax made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roch Mazierski in the 45th minute of play. The supporters of San Martin de Tucuman booed when Wy-pas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miromir Redisz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wincent Cielencki was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paulo Gilen.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mevlüt Serin was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Mevlüt Serin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Jax saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Wy-pas's Lukasz Jaszynski got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Luciano Selmo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Martin de Tucuman fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Wy-pas's Michal Piechocki was substituted for Lukasz Jaszynski. 64 minutes into the match, San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper Cecilio Jax had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roch Mazierski. In the 67th minute, Wy-pas's Hong Yi Jian dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. 70 minutes into the match, Wy-pas's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Osoitz came free, but Wincent Cielencki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. San Martin de Tucuman's Benito Cordareo was substituted for Aquiles Omero. In the 74th minute Wy-pas were awarded a corner. Witomir Trojanowski went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Michal Piechocki got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. San Martin de Tucuman's Cecilio Jax proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save San Martin de Tucuman from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hong Yi Jian in the 84th minute of play forced San Martin de Tucuman's goalkeeper Cecilio Jax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wincent Cielencki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Osoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cecilio Jax made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Roch Mazierski sent off a good shot on target.
