After 7 played minutes Muget got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Mazilu. 9 minutes into the match, Tião Amaral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmund Kojder. Rega Merida CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tião Amaral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Nae Strungă made in the 12th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Billy Nilsson however managed to control. Rega Merida CF's Bartosz Loncki got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Muget booed when Rega Merida CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Umbruso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute of the match Joan Quesada shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edmund Kojder showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Florin Stancu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmund Kojder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tião Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tião Amaral in the 24th minute of play forced Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Edmund Kojder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Nistor Sârban's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isac Gligor was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Edmund Kojder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florin Stancu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Isaia to make the kick off. Edmund Kojder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Isaia, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Alex Isaia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Edmund Kojder was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nistor Sârban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Isac Gligor made a huge save. In the 67thth minute of the game Alex Isaia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rega Merida CF's Edmund Kojder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st minute, Nistor Sârban ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isac Gligor was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Rega Merida CF made a substitution. Janusz Tyszka replaced Filcho Dzhagarov. In the 76th minute, Leonello Messias fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Edmund Kojder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Isaia, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Muget's goalkeeper Isac Gligor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nistor Sârban. 86 minutes into the match, Florin Stancu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edmund Kojder. Rega Merida CF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florin Stancu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Nistor Sârban spun around in front of the goal 89 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Muget's goal. After a defensive mix-up in Muget's zone, Leonello Messias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isac Gligor came out of the goal and Leonello Messias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmund Kojder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorel Dacian in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Isaia in the 95th minute of play forced Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Edmund Kojder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonello Messias charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonello Messias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 97 played minutes Rega Merida CF got a freekick which was hit by Leonello Messias. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Muget fans cheered their team off the field, for while Rega Merida CF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
