The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldas Galkus got free with Emiliano Porfiro in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Danilevičius in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 33rd minute of the match, Tomas Danilevičius got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emiliano Porfiro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tomas Danilevičius who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Emiliano Porfiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 43 played minutes FK Mintis Vilnius got a freekick which was hit by Kęstutis Latoža. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sabin Gligor to strike the kick off in the second half.
