In the 24th minute of the match, Horea Boian tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leonides Durango saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 31 minutes, Antonio Failde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Failde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Leonides Durango got control of the ball when Dariusz Wos tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Failde in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nils Støle saved A.C. Patagonia from getting behind. After 47 minutes of play, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Roberto Nabar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nils Støle was left in no man's land by his defense there! The A.C. Patagonia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chigüires De Mogadiscio were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Failde to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Dariusz Wos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonides Durango was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. With a little luck, A.C. Patagonia's Nils Støle got control of the ball when Antonio Failde tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ikars Zurpēvics took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonides Durango. Leonides Durango dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Leonides Durango showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aldo Di Carlo in the 79th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldo Di Carlo in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonides Durango saved Chigüires De Mogadiscio from getting behind. 82 minutes into the match, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Di Carlo came free, but Leonides Durango reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Chigüires De Mogadiscio's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Costa came free, but Leonides Durango reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Balu Bossaert was substituted for Roberto Nabar. Chigüires De Mogadiscio's Jem Jajecznica was substituted for Antonio Failde. A collision led to A.C. Leonides Durango made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Di Carlo in the 93rd minute of play. A collision led to A.C. Patagonia getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Niceto Izotz hit a great ball. Nils Støle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jem Jajecznica went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chigüires De Mogadiscio had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
