Kuno Lüdimõis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válter Saldanha in the 15th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Velho Barreiro FC defense, Fernando Marinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iker Hidalgo. The Velho Barreiro FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iker Hidalgo should have stopped the shot. Iker Hidalgo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kuno Lüdimõis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válter Saldanha in the 23rd minute of play. Victor Luis made in the 27th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ciro Montenegro however managed to control. If Fernando Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Marinho in the 32nd minute of play forced Velho Barreiro FC's goalkeeper Iker Hidalgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, Velho Barreiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Marinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Hidalgo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, FC ICEWIND DALE's Fernando Marinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iker Hidalgo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Fernando Marinho made the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Michel Siqueira in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC ICEWIND DALE's Ismail Perin. Iker Hidalgo was a little too slow when Fernando Marinho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-4. The supporters of FC ICEWIND DALE booed when Velho Barreiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Siqueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iker Hidalgo made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Fernando Marinho sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Fernando Marinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC ICEWIND DALE's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Marinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Hidalgo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kuno Lüdimõis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Cosme in the 62nd minute of the match. Tomasz Łapiński hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naldo Guerra in the 68th minute of play forced FC ICEWIND DALE's goalkeeper Kuno Lüdimõis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michel Siqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. FC ICEWIND DALE's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Walery Wolicki in the 73rd minute. Kuno Lüdimõis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Arenas, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 79th match minute, FC ICEWIND DALE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaudijo Kiss-Juhász to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 85th minute Fernando Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Hidalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kuno Lüdimõis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Cosme in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, FC ICEWIND DALE's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Cosme came free, but Kuno Lüdimõis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC ICEWIND DALE's Dobromir Borcz was substituted for Fernando Marinho.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC ICEWIND DALE eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
