Sven-Hendrik Ohmer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Edelmiro Cresconio made a huge save. Chelco FC's Edelmiro Cresconio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Hendrik Ohmer in the 10th minute of play. Oswaldo Junior made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Chelco FC's Lambe Travieso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Fe in the 15th minute of play forced C.A.Esparta's goalkeeper Evelio Salvadore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogelio Fe to make the kick off. Marcos Acuña kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes C.A.Esparta got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Acuña. When the match was over Chelco FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C.A.Esparta throughout the match.
