Ezmundo Urresti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Ove Hjeltman made a huge save. In the 16th minute Severino Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ove Hjeltman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joe Uytterhaegens short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Ove Hjeltman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Johnny Gunnarsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pawel Siedlecki was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. 33 minutes into the match, Ovalle City's goal looked a bit too open when Cao Yong Xi came free, but Pawel Siedlecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
