Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Igor Coronado started the match with the kick off. Osvaldo Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anísio Alagoano in the 2nd minute of play. In the 3rd minute, Castanheiro SC's Anísio Alagoano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Benedito Mineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, MAZER SAF's Joélson Coutinho got a free kick in the 17th minute. Osvaldo Marques was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Anísio Alagoano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anísio Alagoano really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Umberto Dionísio took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvaldo Marques. Osvaldo Marques dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Osvaldo Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anísio Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Anísio Alagoano made a precise shot to the right of Osvaldo Marques. MAZER SAF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Umberto Dionísio made a kick off. Nilson Veloso hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Pedrinho Guimarães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yuri Alberto in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, MAZER SAF's Félix Torres seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Félix Torres the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MAZER SAF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Félix Torres had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 56th minute, Félix Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 58 minutes of play, MAZER SAF's Igor Coronado made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedrinho Guimarães was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 63 minutes of play, Castanheiro SC's Umberto Dionísio made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 71st match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute Celsinho da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Luiz Fabiano Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Castanheiro SC were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after MAZER SAF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anísio Alagoano took the corner. Edinho Pirani was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Pedrinho Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Coronado in the 82nd minute of the match. Celsinho da Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Pedrinho Guimarães made a huge save. A collision led to MAZER SAF getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Yuri Alberto hit a great ball. After 92 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Benedito Mineiro. In the 93rd match minute, MAZER SAF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fabiano Abraão to maneuver through the defense.

Castanheiro SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
