Custódio Teive came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Baraja Española FC's Jeremias Lopez. But to his dismay, Jeremias Lopez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 34th minute Toni Godinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvinho Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Ramos hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Baraja Española FC's Jeremias Lopez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Custódio Teive narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Baraja Española FC's Jeremias Lopez, in the 38th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Baraja Española FC. If Jeremias Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Benigno Indalecio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Felíx Areosa hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. If Natalio Raymon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Indalecio in the 54th minute of play forced U21 Angola's goalkeeper Custódio Teive to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to U21 Angola getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Carlos Caneças hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Mauro Laspada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Baraja Española FC's Roman Beti got a free kick in the 60th minute. Silvinho Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Ezequiel Niz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nuno Gonçalves's late challenge caught a Baraja Española FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuno Gonçalves helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to U21 Angola getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Nuno Gonçalves hit a great ball. After some careless play in the U21 Angola defense, Jeremias Lopez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Custódio Teive. The U21 Angola fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Custódio Teive should have stopped the shot. Toni Godinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Silvinho Pimenta made a huge save. In the 70th minute U21 Angola were awarded a corner. Paulo Ezequiel Niz went to the cornerflag to take it. 72 minutes into the match, U21 Angola's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Indalecio came free, but Custódio Teive reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvinho Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Godinho in the 76th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Toni Godinho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silvinho Pimenta, 3-2. In the 79thth minute of the game Benigno Indalecio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Angola's Custódio Teive was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 88 minutes of play U21 Angola's Nuno Gonçalves was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, U21 Angola's Nuno Gonçalves got a free kick in the 89th minute. Custódio Teive showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from László Illés in the 93rd minute of the match.
