During this time Illinois Bluewaters's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Güneş İltemur managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 28 minutes into the match, Bandung Tigers's goalkeeper Mekki Item had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danilo Maranhense. Zulkarnaen Mandaga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roger Myles having to make a save. Roger Myles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 30th minute of the match. After having played for 32 minutes, Zulkarnaen Mandaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bandung Tigers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zulkarnaen Mandaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mekki Item made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danilo Maranhense in the 34th minute. Roger Myles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zulkarnaen Mandaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Ward Mason hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger Myles saved Illinois Bluewaters from getting behind. Andre Loodus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roger Myles having to make a save. Roger Myles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Bandung Tigers's Zulkarnaen Mandaga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roger Myles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. It was a well-played corner which Wang Zheng Yun managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Mekki Item showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Illinois Bluewaters's Roger Myles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 70th minute of play. Illinois Bluewaters made a substitution. 高笑广 replaced Ward Mason. Bandung Tigers's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rui Prates in the 73rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Wang Zheng Yun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roger Myles quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 77th minute 冯永宽 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mekki Item saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radomir Gajewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Roger Myles made a huge save. Mekki Item took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Maranhense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 86th minute of play forced Illinois Bluewaters's goalkeeper Roger Myles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Zulkarnaen Mandaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bandung Tigers made a substitution.
