The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Roceira SC's Dedê Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcell Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Carlos Vianna in the 31st minute of play. In the 31st minute João Carlos Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcell Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Léo Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marcell Barovero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Carlos Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aílton Damião kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Roceira SC booed when Wambalamba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Acevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Florin Acevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Wambalamba FC's zone, Michel Haaland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cris Courtois came out of the goal and Michel Haaland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Wambalamba FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michel Haaland to strike the kick off in the second half. Cris Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Haaland in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Juarês Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wambalamba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juarês Donato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcell Barovero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juarês Donato could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Marcell Barovero made a huge save. Marcell Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Finnman, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Brian Finnman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Marcell Barovero made a huge save. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Roceira SC's goalkeeper Marcell Barovero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 69th minute, Roceira SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Brian Finnman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cris Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Haaland in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Léo Souto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wambalamba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roceira SC the free kick. Léo Souto kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Wambalamba FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
