Tião Maia made in the 15th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luiz Eduardo Alves immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of Clube Audax Metropolitano booed when Pragmáticos 1903 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovani Sanches didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Zé Carlos Britto threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Haisenberg Dolar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Haisenberg Dolar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Zé Carlos Britto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Haisenberg Dolars short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Zé Carlos Britto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zé Carlos Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bjørn Ironside in the 31st minute of the match. Haisenberg Dolar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zé Carlos Britto came out and tried to block the shot, but Haisenberg Dolar slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 37th minute. The audience was convinced that Haisenberg Dolar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Carlos Britto was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After 42 minutes, Haisenberg Dolar made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pragmáticos 1903's Zé Carlos Britto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Claudinho Quadros dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zé Carlos Britto, 7-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Pragmáticos 1903's zone, Haisenberg Dolar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Carlos Britto came out of the goal and Haisenberg Dolar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Carlos Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haisenberg Dolar in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pragmáticos 1903's goalkeeper Zé Carlos Britto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes into the match, Pragmáticos 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Haisenberg Dolar came free, but Zé Carlos Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haisenberg Dolar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zé Carlos Britto having to make a save. 70 minutes into the match, Pragmáticos 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Haisenberg Dolar came free, but Zé Carlos Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bjørn Ironside in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Carlos Britto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th minute, Eriberto Netto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zé Carlos Britto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eriberto Netto's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 81stth minute of the game Bjørn Ironside who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pragmáticos 1903's Zé Carlos Britto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 82 played minutes Pragmáticos 1903 got a freekick which was hit by Tião Maia. In the 83rd minute Bjørn Ironside shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Carlos Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Carlos Britto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eriberto Netto went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Santo Lano got control of the ball when Tião Maia tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 92 played minutes, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Emirşah Berkman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zé Carlos Britto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Clube Audax Metropolitano reached it. Zé Carlos Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bjørn Ironside in the 94th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bjørn Ironside in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Carlos Britto saved Pragmáticos 1903 from getting behind. When Bjørn Ironside, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 96 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Zé Carlos Britto was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar.
