In the 6th minute, RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's Matias Aznaro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rafael Gilesindo. Rafael Gilesindo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Dean Dams made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Ortega in the 10th minute of play. Anibal Ekhi charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anibal Ekhi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to RCD CARABANCHEL SAD getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Anibal Ekhi hit a great ball. The supporters of RCD CARABANCHEL SAD booed when Locura Académica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Sotero didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Aznaro in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Gilesindo saved Locura Académica from getting behind. When RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's Matias Aznaro in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Locura Académica's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Rafael Gilesindo managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's Matias Aznaro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 21 minutes into the game, RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's Matias Aznaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafael Gilesindo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Matias Aznaro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rafael Gilesindo firmly grabbed it by the left post. RCD CARABANCHEL SAD were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Locura Académica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anibal Ekhi took the corner. Rafael Gilesindo made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Matias Aznaro sent off a good shot on target. Matias Aznaro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Rafael Gilesindo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rafael Gilesindo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matias Aznaro went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Remus Pinches's late challenge caught a RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remus Pinches helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Locura Académica getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Remus Pinches hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the game, Braulio Quintyn recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rafael Gilesindo. Braulio Quintyn showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Rafael Gilesindo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matias Aznaro in the 38th minute. Locura Académica's Rafael Gilesindo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Locura Académica from getting a goal against them. Matias Aznaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Gilesindo having to interfere. Saul Selatse kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Ortega came free, but Dean Dams reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute, Walther Samuelsen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matias Aznaro made a kick off. After some careless play in the Locura Académica defense, Braulio Quintyn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Gilesindo. The Locura Académica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Gilesindo should have stopped the shot. Cecilio Tano kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Matias Aznaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Gilesindo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matias Aznaro ran back to his position shaking his head. Braulio Quintyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Jonathan Sotero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dean Dams was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urbano Ortega got free with Dean Dams in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Björn Ekeroth hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the game, Locura Académica's Urbano Ortega nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dean Dams made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. RCD CARABANCHEL SAD's Matias Aznaro got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Aznaro in the 92nd minute of play forced Locura Académica's goalkeeper Rafael Gilesindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The RCD CARABANCHEL SAD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Locura Académica had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
